Bollard Color Customization Guide: Beyond Stainless Steel

Why Customize Colors?

Traditional bollards use natural 304 stainless steel with a silver brushed finish. As urban landscapes emphasize aesthetics, more clients want colors harmonizing with surroundings — dark gray for modern commercial architecture, bronze for historical settings, bright colors for school zones.

Color Options

PROCOLUM offers four standard colors: Engineering Orange (high visibility for traffic zones), Forest Green (blends with greenery), Deep Blue (professional for corporate HQs), Obsidian Black (luxury for high-end plazas and hotels). Custom Pantone colors available with minimum 5-unit order.

Process & Durability

Electrostatic powder coating: sandblasting for adhesion, electrostatic polyester powder spraying, high-temperature curing. Coating thickness 60-80μm, Grade 0 adhesion, 1000+ hours salt spray resistance. Weather resistance 3x better than ordinary spray paint — 5+ years outdoor without fading or peeling.

Reflective Film Matching

When column color changes, 3M reflective film must adjust for contrast. Dark columns pair with white or yellow film; light columns with red. Our technical team provides professional color matching recommendations.
